The Zentrum is BMW’s only North American Visitor Center and Interactive Museum. Located adjacent to BMW’s only North American Automotive Manufacturing Plant, it features a state-of-the-art auditorium for the presentation of new car models to the world market through satellite link technology.

The center also seamlessly combines a product display gallery with a historical museum. Other areas of note are a training center, café, and souvenir shop.

The Zentrum acts as a market link between BMW and their customers by declaring a bold architectural statement. Through this, it serves as a worldwide symbol of BMW’s innovative design heritage in addition to representing their view of the future in the automotive industry.

David Lewis, AIA, was the architect of record for this project and was responsible for coordinating all disciplines including Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering in addition to providing Owner’s Representative Services during construction activities.
