This design/build project for DAA represents Phase 3 of their North American Headquarters expansion. Three major areas earned the focus of this expansion; the state-of-the-art Automotive Production/Assembly Area, the R&D Prototype Development Labs, and the High-Bay Narrow Aisle Warehouse with ESFR fire protection.

The R&D Division is composed of office spaces for 90 employees with Conference Rooms and a Product Display Showroom. Support areas include project training spaces, restrooms, showers/lockers, etc.

The warehouse expansion required the relocation of some shipping and receiving docks to accommodate construction. A new truck drive loop/shipping area and employee parking area were also designed in this phase.

The three phases of implementation have brought DAA’s total interior floor space to approximately 200,000 SF.

Context Design Group is responsible for all areas of design including Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in addition to providing Owner’s Representation Services during Construction Activities.
